Joseph Daniel “Danny” Reynolds, III, is a small business owner, property manager, real estate agent, and City Councilman at Large in DeRidder, LA.
Danny graduated from DeRidder High School in 1993 and joined the LA Army National Guard where he served from 1993-2001 as a 63H/Tracked Vehicle Repairer achieving the rank of SGT/E-5. Wearing the uniform was always a rewarding experience for him. He learned to be a leader and did so with a “lead by example” attitude. His training and experience gained him employment with Leir Seigler Services, LLC, and an opportunity to go to South Korea as an inspector where he managed an inspection team of 22 people responsible for over 3000 pieces of rolling stock. He returned to DeRidder in 2004 and began living his dream.
The city of DeRidder soon offered him opportunities. Within months of being home, he owned and operated Reynolds Outdoor Advertising, LLC (2004-2012) and Bizzy Beez Cleaning Service, LLC (2007-2019). He currently owns and operates D3 Rentals, LLC, and is a producer with EXIT Real Estate Consultants.
In 2017 Danny was finally able to give back to the city that had provided him so much opportunity. He accepted the position of Public Works Director for DeRidder, a position he held until 2019. Once again, he was able to “lead by example” with a team of over 40 people. This produced many positive changes for the city.
He still serves his city today. He was elected in 2022 to the City Council where he serves as Councilman at Large.
Danny has been a member of the Rotary Club of DeRidder for 14 years where he served as president from 2018-2019 and again in 2023-2024, along with being a Paul Harris Fellow. Danny is also a long-time member of the Beauregard Chamber of Commerce where he served on the board of directors from 2017-2019. He is a founding member of the Beauregard Economic Expansion Coalition created in 2024. Danny was recently appointed to the board of directors for the Louisiana Armed Forces Alliance where he proudly works to support the armed forces and the missions of military installations around the state. He is focused on improving quality of life for all soldiers and their families, and he diligently pursues strengthening relationships with Ft. Johnson and other military installations.
When he isn’t working, Danny enjoys antique cars, antique shopping, and travelling. The things he loves the most in life are God, family, and friends. Danny shares his life with his wife Crystal, four daughters—Kailea, Destiny, Trinity, and Ava and two sons-in-law, Camron and Colby. Most recently, Colby and Trinity added their daughter Crue.
